Nu Image Optical
Center, Inc., opened in January of 1978 and
is a family owned and operated optical and
low vision center. We are a progressive company, changing with the times and staying
current with frame styles, lens materials, and frame materials. The owners
and staff will go the extra mile to research difficult optical problems
and to service our customers. Our goals are to specialize in customized
lenses to match our customer's needs and to take pride in dispensing
quality work. In 1996 we added an extensive inventory of low vision
aids. This section is devoted to helping people who are legally blind or
visually impaired.
Through extensive courses combined with working and learning from our low
vision patients, our low vision specialist have become knowledgeable and
proficient in problems incurred by the visually impaired.
Dr. Vasant J. Balar, MD is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who performs general ophthalmology exams for glasses, contacts and low vision refractions at our office. It is important to get your eyes examined once every 2 years and if you are diabetic you should be getting your eyes checked once a year. Call us today to schedule your appointment.
